Kids Terms and Conditions of Direct Sale
Please take a few minutes to review these Terms and Conditions.
Your purchase of products from us constitutes your agreement
to follow these Terms and Conditions and to be bound by them.
How to Place An Order
You can place your orders by:

We will email or fax confirmation of your order
within 48 hours. Please include all relevant information and
make note of any special instructions of any kind to your
order.
If you do not receive a confirmation within 48 hours of placing
your order, please contact us so we can be sure that your
order was received.
Payment Options
We accept the following methods of payment for direct sales:

Money Orders, Cashier’s checks and Personal Checks
in US dollars (shipment of in stock items and/or production
will begin when personal check clears) may be sent along
with order information to:

Due to the custom nature of Vintage Kids products,
full payment is due at time of order placement. After the
three-day grace period, custom orders are non-cancelable and
nonrefundable.
Sales Tax
Since Vintage Kids does not have a physical (brick & mortar)
retail presence in Georgia, we are required to add sales tax
to GA orders.
When will I receive my
order?
Every Vintage Kids piece is painted and hand-rubbed to your
specifications. Once you have placed your order, production
will start within 1-3 days and shipment will take place within
8-10 weeks if the item(s) are in stock. If there are any changes
to be made such as color choice, additions to an existing
order, etc. please submit these changes within the 3-day grace
period of purchased date. If items on your order are not in
stock, you will be notified with an estimated date for start
of production time and estimated ship date.
Plaques usually ship within 1-2 weeks.
Standard Shipping (Curbside)
Smaller items ship via UPS Ground. In stock items ship within
5 – 10 business days from day order was placed and are
usually received in about 1 – 2 weeks. Oversized items
will have additional surcharges since these items are larger
and more expensive to ship. We review delivery options for
each and every order placed to find the quickest, most cost
effective solution for your order.
Please note all shipping charges are per address.
These costs include order processing item selection, packing
and transportation of items. Please note that it is important
for you to check measurements for access to your home to be
certain that items will fit through doors.
UPS Express – Orders starting at $13.95
(If in stock) (determined by weight & size)
UPS Standard Overnight starting at $25.95
(if in stock) (determined by weight & size).
Orders requesting UPS Express or UPS Standard
Overnight for in stock items must be received by 12:00 noon.
Shipments to Address other
than Billing Address
We will be happy to ship to addresses other than your billing
address. Please have your shipping and billing addresses ready
at check-out. We will also ship to multiple addresses for
an additional charge.
Shipments of Multiple Items
to Same Address
We deliver within the 48 contiguous
states – should you place an order for multiple items
to be delivered at the same time to the same address, we will
deduct a portion of the shipping charges accordingly and advise
you of your new reduced total.
Shipments to Our Neighbors
in Alaska and Hawaii
We welcome orders from Alaska and Hawaii and will work with
you to find the best shipment method to safely bring Vintage
Kids to your door.
Shipments to Our International
Neighbors
We welcome international orders. Due to the large variance
in shipping rates for different countries, please contact
us for quotes on shipping internationally. International customers
are responsible for any customs or duties imposed by your
country.
In Home Delivery (White
Glove)
We offer White Glove Service on all of our furniture. This
service includes inside home delivery in your room of choice,
light assembly of furniture up to 30 minutes, as well as removal
and disposal of packing materials. Our Agent will call you
within 24 hours of receiving your shipment to set up a time
for delivery. This service is highly recommended for our larger
and heavier pieces, and is especially recommended for Mothers
to be. Additional surcharges as listed below apply for this
service. We will be more then happy to help you in figuring
out your total cost should you opt for White Glove Service.
Leave that up to us to make your experience a more pleasurable
one when ordering with Vintage Kids.
1 – 300 lbs $155.00 surcharge
301 – 600 lbs $165.00 surcharge
601 – 900 lbs $185.00 surcharge
901 – 1250 lbs $215.00 surcharge
1251 – 1600 lbs $255.00 surcharge
1601 – 2000 lbs $355.00 surcharge
Saturday and Sunday delivery are currently not available
for White Glove Service.
Local Delivery
If you live in or around the Metro Atlanta area, you may be
eligible for a reduced local delivery rate and may save delivery
costs entirely by picking your order up at our warehouse as
arranged by appointment only.
Delivery Inspection
Before signing the shipping receipt at the time of delivery,
carefully open the package and inspect items for any damage
or defects. Should you notice any damage or defects, note
them on the shipping receipt and refuse delivery before delivery
person leaves. Please notify Vintage Kids immediately at 770-945-8027 .
If you refuse delivery, miss your delivery appointment(s),
are unable to accept delivery due to inability to fit items
through access points, or return a non-defective or undamaged
product, you will be charged for actual return shipping costs.**
Items returned as damaged or defective are inspected and tested
upon arrival. Some items may also incur a restocking fee ranging
from 10% to 25%*** of the price.

Return
and Exchange Policy
Since all orders are custom-made, all furniture and plaques
are inspected prior to shipping. If you are not satisfied
with your purchase you may return within 30 days of received
goods (custom orders are subject to a nonrefundable policy).
Therefore a 25% restocking fee will be applied to your refund.
After 30 days a Vintage Kids in house credit will be given.
Product must be returned in its original condition and its
original packing. If original packing materials are not supplied
Vintage Kids has the right to refuse return items. Shipping
charges are non-refundable.
It’s necessary for the customer to inspect each pack
item carefully for damages and open and inspect the furniture
at the time of Delivery. Customer is responsible for notifying
the delivery service in advance if special conditions might
apply to your delivery, and is responsible for increased cost
of delivery due to limitation of access at destination. Delivery
instruction for the carrier must be strictly adhered to. Customer
agrees to inspect packaging and goods carefully for any damage
and note appropriate notations of damages and shortages any
other anomalies on the Freight Bill prior to accepting and
signature for delivery.
How to Return an Item
No returns will be accepted on damage goods on your end, if
not stated with our shipping company. No returns or exchanges
will be accepted on product that has been used, worn or not
in a saleable condition as you had received it in, expect
in the case of nonconformity and /or manufacture defects.
Any claim of nonconformity and /or manufacture defects must
be reported via phone within 3 business days of receipt of
merchandise.

ext 1 to obtain a return authorization number. Monday –
Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm EST
2). On larger pieces with our in home delivery service, you
must note any damages to Bill Of Lading with a disclaimer
stating what the damages are and a signature with date.
3). The item must be packed in its original shipping box
and materials with the approved return authorization number
prominently displayed on the shipping label. Carefully repackage
the merchandise, if this is for smaller package please return
package to us via FedEx Center to the address below. If this
is with our white glove service carrier, we will need to be
notified immediately 770-945-8027 .

Any items that are custom made-to-order cannot be returned
or exchanged unless damaged or defective.
Protecting Your Privacy
Vintage Kids respects your privacy and will not share your
information with anyone at anytime, ever. Any information
we gather is purely for purposes of assisting you in obtaining
answers to your questions and/or contacting you at your request.
Protecting Children
We do not permit anyone under the age of 13 to register with
us. We also do not send email correspondence to anyone who
tells us that they are under the age of 13 without their parent's
consent.
Children under the age of 13 should always ask their parents
or guardians for permission before providing any personal
information to anyone online. We urge parents and guardians
to participate in their children's online activities and use
parental control or other web filtering technology to supervise
children’s access to the web.
Security
We take precautions, including use of sophisticated encryption
and authentication tools, to protect the security of your
personal information that you share with us. Unfortunately,
however, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed
to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect
your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant
the security of any information you transmit to or from our
web sites, and you do so at your own risk.
